Blue was taken, on a recent trip to south Wales. Early, on a cold September morning I spotted some type of bird way off in the distance, and set off to get that little bit closer. But, before I took half a dozen steps it was off and flying down into the nearby valley.
Not wishing to return empty handed, I decided to take several shots of the horses in an adjacent field. This shot, taken using an EOS3 and 300mm lens with a 2 times extender fitted, was something of a consolation. The air being crisp and clear, the blue of the sky reflecting on the moisture below the horses' eye - has helped to make this one of my favourite pictures.
